The Gundam Evolution shooter launches on Steam on September 22 and on consoles on December 1

Video game developer BANDAI NAMCO has announced the release date for Gundam Evolution. This first free-to-play hero shooter in the franchise will launch on Steam on September 22 in Europe.

Along with the announcement, two new videos have been released for aspiring Gundam pilots to prepare for what lies ahead. The first is an overview of the objectives, GUNDAM EVOLUTION is a free-to-play team-based first-person shooter featuring 6v6 PvP combat with playable characters from across the multiverse Gundam.

The game will offer three game modes based on objectives: Capture points, Domination and Destruction. The title features a unique set of challenges that will require teams to craft and execute formidable offensive and defensive strategies to emerge victorious.

GUNDAM EVOLUTION It will arrive with a roster of 12 playable “mobile suits” and will pit us against each other in 6v6 PvP combat across three objective-based game modes. You can see the large amount of content for the pilots in this first season below:
