Razer announced that its annual flagship event RazerCon, the digital celebration of all things gaming, will take place on October 15, 2022. Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan will kick it off with an exciting keynote packed with updates. of the brand, before giving the floor to the hosts of the event, the members of OTK, Rich Campbell and Cyr.
The highly anticipated event is sponsored by Qualcomm and presented by Intel, Facebook Gaming, Twinkly, Verizon, and Displate. In true RazerCon style, the livestream will feature exclusive news, sneak peeks at upcoming games, top-notch entertainment, exciting giveaways and more.
As Razer continues to set the standard for the gaming industry, fans can look forward to another impressive production from the brand and its partners. RazerCon 2022 will be broadcast live through the official channels of Twitter, Facebook Y Youtube from Razer.
The pre-show will kick off at 9 a.m. PDT, with the main event scheduled from 10 a.m. to around 4 p.m. As the brand’s flagship event, RazerCon 2022 will feature the following segments:

Activities prior to RazerCon
RazerCon began as a way for Razer to celebrate the gaming community, and now in its third year, what better way to celebrate than with a series of giveaways? Fans have a chance to win prizes from Razer and its partners from September 15 through October 15 during the live stream and can register now to enter the Razer Grand Raffle at the RazerCon website.
In addition to the big giveaway that Razer has every year, the brand is also collaborating with partners like Facebook Gaming, Twinkly, and Displate for a host of exclusive pre-show contests and giveaways.
RazerCon: Taking the standard of digital events to the next level
The inaugural RazerCon took place in 2020 with the goal of creating a new and innovative way to connect with the community in the absence of physical events. Going from strength to strength, RazerCon has transformed the way brands engage with gamers and set a new precedent for online events, including carbon-neutral live streaming.
RazerCon 2021 was the first carbon-neutral, renewable energy-based event for gamers. 1.5 million viewers tuned in to the live stream, which garnered more than 375,000 hours of viewing time and 250 million social media impressions. This year’s RazerCon will also be carbon neutral, as the brand will leverage the Amazon Web Services platform using green energy to power the event. This is in line with Razer’s decarbonisation efforts to become a zero emission company by 2030.
Another RazerCon trademark is the Razer Chroma RGB reactive lighting (patent pending) that powers the event. Razer Chroma RGB is Razer’s proprietary RGB lighting technology system with 16.8 million colors designed to create continuous, dynamic lighting effects. Viewers who turn on their Razer hardware during the live stream will see their Chroma-enabled devices sync up with the event, especially during musical performances and entertainment segments.
